A life Well Lived

I was chatting with a friend this morning about how many people are suddenly dropping dead. I know a couple, and so does he. What the actual F$%#?
If we can’t predict the time or date of our death, at least we can make some changes to protect our nutrition and give our bodies the best chance at a life well lived.
I’ve been looking back over my blogs from the last six years, and re-reading them has made me even more convinced that following ancestral principles is the best guide to living well.
We may not be able to escape the city’s dust and noise, and it can be hard to get away from artificial light. But what we feed ourselves is something we can control. Starting today. Understanding how our body works with the food we give it is the first step to understanding nutrition.
We’re not starving. We have more access to food than ever before—from grass fed meat and traceable organs to homegrown fruit and vegetables. We can pick, harvest, and ferment our foods so they’re easy to digest, and we all have access to this knowledge.
Why don't we all do this?
Why do we reach for foods deep fried in vegetable oils? Why do we buy packaged foods or choose fortified breads? Why do we accept the sweets handed out on a plane, or grab nuts and chips while socialising?
OMG, it’s everywhere, and we’re still saying yes. Then we’re shocked when we hear that people are dropping dead or being diagnosed with something terminal.
We’re a generation exposed to agricultural sprays on our food and in our air. We’ve had vaccines, blue light, noise, and constant stress—all of which are slowly eroding our health until one day it becomes too much for our bodies.
The Ancestral Principles Fight and Shield are the two I want you to stick on your fridge. They’re daily reminders that health is a choice. Fight for what you believe in - fresh water, whole unprocessed foods - and Shield your body from sprays, EMF, and stress. Having a few tools to move stress through the body helps too.
Plus, stick with HGP! It’s my commitment to keep giving you up-to-date info and gentle reminders that eating well and caring for your body is the best path to a life well lived.
